Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been named the official beneficiary of the Columbus Marathon. This partnership - The Nationwide Children’s’ Hospital Columbus Marathon - has launched a new initiative for 2012 called Children’s Champions. Children’s Champions are individuals who chose to run or walk the marathon or half marathon while fundraising for Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
As a Children’s Champion, you have the opportunity to reach beyond personal training goals and support another mission. To cure, to mend, and comfort each child that walks through the doors of Nationwide Children’s. Your fundraising efforts help provide every child with the highest quality of care, regardless of the child’s diagnosis or the family’s ability to pay.
